Hayle is situated on the north coast of West Cornwall approximately six miles from St. Ives, six miles from Mount’s Bay on the south coast and Penzance and 17 Miles from Land’s End, the most westerly point on mainland England.
There are many ways to get to Hayle.
By car- The A30 trunk road brings you directly to Hayle and the properties are only a few miles from the Hayle junction.
By coach- There are coach services from all parts England to west Cornwall.
By train- Hayle is lucky to have a main line train station and there are buses and taxis to take you to the property.
By air- Newquay is our nearest airport, with regular flights from London and Manchester, Belfast, Scotland and Europe.
The is a wide variety of local shops and restaurants, bars and cafes in Hayle as well as many high street names such as Marks and Spencers, Lidl, Asda, Co-op & Next. You will also find galleries plus an indoor market with various art studios and antique dealers.
There are many takeaways in Hayle providing Cornish pasties, fish and chips and Chinese, Indian, Thai cuisine. Some of these also offer delivery services.
There is a huge variety of attractions on the doorstep, Paradise Park, Cornwall Gold, St. Ives, Fishing, Golf, Watersports, and many more a short distance away. For those who enjoy a challenge, the north Cornwall coastal path is never very far away.

Definitely not. All the properties are privately owned and have their own character style and decor. They also vary in size. Please check individual property descriptions details.
Some of our properties have been designed with the disabled in mind and have wet rooms, ramps and wider doorways. Please call the office for further detail.
Once you have made a booking you will be sent directions to the property and given any further necessary details when you collect the keys.
Keys are available by arrangement with Hayle Holidays. Some properties have key boxes, others keys will be available from our office at Riviere Towans. See property description or contact office for details.
You will be able to move into your property after 3:00 p.m. on the afternoon of your arrival. You will need to vacate the property by 9:00 a.m. on your departure day.
Yes, all properties will have some form of heating.
All properties have pillows, duvets and mattress protectors but with most properties you will need to bring you own personal linen, duvet covers, pillow cases, sheets and towels. See property description for details.
Smoking is not allowed in any of the properties
Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome in some of the properties but not all. See property description for details.
No other pets are allowed.
Yes, some properties are suitable for two dogs. See property description for details.
You can have up to the maximum number of people each property accommodates. Each property is designed for a certain number of people. For insurance purposes this number must not be exceeded.

You can pay for your holiday online when you make a booking or can phone the office to make a payment. If you prefer you can send a cheque to Hayle Holidays.
25% of the total booing fee is payable when you make the booking.
The final balance of 75% needs to be paid six weeks before the start of the holiday.
No. When the booking is made you will receive an email giving you all the information regarding the payments, including the dates you need to make payments. No further reminder is sent.
If you have not paid the balance of your holiday payment by six weeks before your holiday we will try to contact you. If we are unable to contact you your booking will be cancelled and offered to other customers.
If something is spoiling your holiday or you have a problem of any sort, please report it to Hayle Holidays immediately. Let us know and we will take action immediately and do all we can to rectify the situation. We have a team of trades people who are on standby and ready to help. If for some reason your property is not suitable, please tell us at once and we will endeavour to help. Please do not suffer in silence or decide to write a letter when you get home. We are available during office hours on the office number or on out of hours numbers posted in the properties. Please do not wait to call if you have a problem.

It is important to remember that in the West Country the air is often warm and humid. However, even in summer if it has been particularly wet or there is a build up of steam from showers it is advisable to open some windows to air the property.
